Andrew Svitek earned his law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2002. During law school, he worked for the California Attorney General in the Environmental Section, for the California Resources Agency, and in the legal department of Countrywide Financial.
For several years after law school Mr. Svitek worked for law firms in the areas of real estate and business law. His experience in both litigation and transactions make him a better legal adviser. He has experience in transactions involving formation and sale of businesses and with negotiating agreements. He also has experience in litigation matters including property damage cases, contract cases, and land use litigation and appeals, including the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals.
Mr. Svitek has a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in Political Science and Philosophy and enjoys the analytical aspects of the practice of law. He was a columnist for the Daily Bruin.
Mr. Svitek founded the Svitek Law Group, LLC in order to deepen his focus on the areas of business and real estate and to develop a team that can effectively serve the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs.
Mr. Svitek delves into legal matters and strives to develop and implement strategies for success of the firm’s clients.
